Choose the right slab
We start with your space, budget and design direction, then select wood with the grain, edge and proportion that fit the piece.
San Sebastian Forest was never created simply to build furniture.
It was created to restore a forest.
For generations, the responsibility was simple:
For generations, our family has cared for a beautiful forest in the mountains of western Mexico, one hour east of Puerto Vallarta. Over time, we learned that a healthy forest needs active stewardship. Fallen and naturally retired trees must be removed to reduce wildfire risk, native trees must be planted, and the land must be continuously cared for so future generations can enjoy it.
That is why every piece we create has a purpose beyond craftsmanship.
When you purchase a San Sebastian Forest table, you are helping us restore the very forest where the wood began its journey. Your support allows us to clean the land, plant new trees, improve wildlife habitat, and preserve this remarkable place.
We never cut healthy trees to make furniture.
Instead, we rescue naturally fallen and retired trees, giving them a second life as heirloom pieces that will be enjoyed for decades.
As our restoration efforts grow, we are also creating a road so our customers can visit the forest, see the restoration work firsthand, and experience how their purchase is making a real difference.
Our vision is bigger than furniture.
It is about proving that exceptional craftsmanship can help restore nature.
That vision inspired our close friend, John McDonald, owner of My Road Club, to join us in this mission of restoring forests and leaving the world better than we found it.
Together, we are building more than tables.
We are restoring a forest.
And as John likes to say,
"Let's leave a legacy together."
That is exactly what we hope every piece of furniture helps us do.
From our forest to your home.
Our process
Every custom piece begins with the room, the family, and the tree. We help choose the slab, define the size, finish and base, then build around the natural movement of the wood.
We start with your space, budget and design direction, then select wood with the grain, edge and proportion that fit the piece.
Once the wood is chosen, we align the finish, dimensions and base style with the natural contours of the slab.
The table is crafted, finished and prepared for delivery so the final piece feels grounded and ready for daily life.
A father and son project shaped by patience, craft, and the quiet beauty of working with real wood.
Every piece is connected to the restoration and care of family forest in San Sebastian del Oeste.
Our tables are built to become part of daily life, gathering places, and homes with memory.
